Dear Spring:

After a few days of above average temperatures, I must admit I have spring fever  Do you suffer from the same ailment?  Anyway, this photo serves as a reminder that we welcome warmer weather and are grateful for the reprieve from winter that boosted readings on the thermometer to above freezing.

Escape Winter

If you live in the heartland and have had your fill of winter, you are not alone.  Often when discussing the weather, I lightheartedly mention how winter and I really aren't "BFF's" -- but, honestly, that's exactly how I feel.  And, when looking for some quotes about winter, I found something that echoed this sentiment precisely.  So, enjoy the dreamy photo (that I took while vacationing in Cancun) and laugh a little after reading the following remark.

RMC Collection

Recently our local medical center completed a substantial addition to the existing facility and selected photographs by area artists to adorn the new space.  After touring the structure, I have to say it's an outstanding upgrade that we in rural Iowa are blessed to have in our community.  Included in this post are a couple shots of one wall that contains two of my images, Clippity Clop and Tractors on Parade.  If you haven't seen the new addition and all of the wonderful photos, stop and take a look -- you'll be impressed.
