Cool Truck

 

One day this restored truck showed up on my path, and I could not resist the urge to photograph it.  The shiny parts, vibrant color, and unique design along with its overall sparkle instantly grabbed my attention.  And although I do not know the owner nor the year nor model, (but certainly Google knows) I do know that, in my estimation, it qualifies as something beautiful that belongs on my blog.  Enjoy!

Sunday Morning Tangling Session

 

Here's the opportunity to be creative in the comfort of your home.

This image is of an amazingly beautiful structure and corresponding gardens located just off of Lake Michigan north of Evanston officially in Wilmette, Illinois.  It is one of only eight continental Baha'i Houses of Worship in the world.  This temple is open to the public and may be frequented by folks of all faiths.  If architecture and peaceful settings appeal to you, plan a visit.

Anthony Chapel

 

In recent posts I have featured several photos taken at Garvan Woodland Gardens near Hot Springs, Arkansas, and expressed how much I love this 210-acre property along Lake Hamilton in the Ouachita National Forest.

And here are more from Garvan as these images showcase the incredible Anthony Chapel made with native wood and glass and a 57-foot ceiling created using the Prairie School of architecture popularized by Frank Lloyd Wright.  This amazing structure was designed by architects Maurice Jennings and David McKee.
