Despite an extremely dry summer, Iowa farmers still have corn to combine and they are busy doing just that. As you notice from all the dust on the equipment, conditions are still dry but about ideal for harvest. Cool nights and warm days have folks working long hours in the fields harvesting grain and hauling it to nearby storage and drying facilities.
