Summer's Bounty
Recently I looked after a neighbor's garden while he took time for a fishing trip. And, one of the benefits was receiving the produce that he asked me to pick and use. Cucumbers, grape tomatoes, regular tomatoes, all sorts of peppers, green beans, lettuce, kale, and so on. In addition to eating these goodies, my favorite part is just taking time to appreciate all the amazing leaves, colors, textures and shapes that I see in vegetable gardens. So, instead of canning and freezing all this stuff, I shared with others and spent the majority of my time taking pictures. It was something beautiful.
