Daffodils

She turned to the sunlight and shook her yellow head,
And whispered to her neighbor:  "Winter is dead."

DIY Easter Basket

Some of you have seen these images in previous posts; however, since this is one of my favorite recycling/upcycling projects, I want to share it again.  As is obvious in the first picture, I deconstructed a box and rebuilt it with the inside facing out.  The pretty design on the interior of the container caught my attention and I just couldn't throw it away.

Anyway, next I used two pipe cleaners as the handle and then embellished the exterior.  Trust me, this is simple and super cute.  Surprise someone for Easter with a basket you made yourself and fill it with their favorite treats.
