Where?

Although I was in search of garden statuary, coming across this duck sitting on its nest full of eggs was pretty cool.  And, I am not sure why a duck would select a pop-up garden center in a busy supermarket parking lot as a place to build a nest; however, obviously, I know nothing about the workings of Mother Nature.  And, I was inspired by the duck just sitting quietly as noisy humans hovered nearby and tried to catch a glimpse......hmmmm....

So, here's a lesson from the duck:   mind my own business ... even when others are loud, annoying, in my personal space and clueless.  Whew!  That is a lot but I will keep it in mind.

Loving Leaves

Regardless of the season, most leaves intrigue me, and I find myself often photographing their colors, patterns, textures, shapes and so forth.  Such variety and brilliant designs by Mother Nature.....ahhhhhh .....something beautiful.

And, in this area, these plants are commonly grown indoors; therefore, you could check out a vendor's selection and add a few newbies to your current collection.  Or, like me, you spend hours drooling over all the pretties, take a hundred pictures to serve as souvenirs and then decide on one or...five to take home.
